High standards
The property is well planned out. The way luxury, business, and family & leasure travellers coexist seamlessly in a hotel of this size. It is a combination of well planned property management with efficient operational management. Staff are well trained and very responsive but at the same time subtle. Cleanliness is impeccable in all departments.
La scarpeta (Italian restaurant) could be better. They could place some more cabanas rather than sun loungers at the beach area.

Luxurious, top service, lovely location and a wonderful stay.
We found the Waldorf Astoria in Lusail to be exceptional. The small differences that distinguish this from other top hotels were all evident, from our check in to the small touches like complimentary snacks, extra water and towels, the quality of the finishing, the books and the friendliness of the staff. It was all superb. Shout out to Brian in the pool staff who looked after us each day by the pool ensuring we had our beds in position, with towels, water etc. On the first day there were no places by the pool so we went to the beach. Brian said he would look out for us and sure enough an hour later he had two places, arranged with towels etc. Top class. Also, my wife had two massages at the spa on her neck which was causing her discomfort. A wonderful experience had and now her neck is all fixed so thanks to the team at the spa. This outstanding service really epitomised the staff, the hotel and the whole experience for us. We will definitely be back!
A very small point but the quality of the water at the beach wasn't great. I went for a swim and couldn't see the bottom. Not sure if its the Water Sports churning up the water but that was my only negative to what was a very pleasant stay.

Definitely a must place to stay and enjoy time with family. Overall our stay was a pleasant. Thanks!
The breakfast was great! With the selection of healthy drink and variety of food to fulfill our cravings.
Everything was good except the on going construction around the area. Keep up the good work!
